What’s a good gift to give a doc-to-be?
My friends leaving for medical school in a few days. I see her on Wednesday. I have only one day (tomorrow) to get something. What say you folks ?

She IS a normal human being, right? Do we have a seperate list of gifts we get for doctors? Does it really matter what her profession is? Just get her something you think fits her personality best...something you think she would like. I think you should get her a blender. :]

sara dude- i agree with u, a personal touch always goes down well…buy her a big standard gift, and then a small one 2 do with her degree etc. the pen…hmmmm…in UK we can buy them from specialist medical book stores-they have one near every med skool…but dunno about yank…and ignore impulse…she’s just got something against docs!

I really think you should go to “things Remembered” It has really nice things and you can engrave it…It will be sophisticated and personal, something that will always stay on her dresser, or her office desk:clown:
