If ur family are too eager to give gifts then only one thing for each person wud also work, as its tradition in pk specially karachiets to give gift to inlaws, my uncle (chachoo) got married, larki walay sent gifts on the mehendi function in a suit case containing 1 dress piece foe each sis n a 3piece dress for MIL of girl, and pant shirt pieces for each bro, and 1 saree foe each bhabi. no other refreshments for Inlaws like purfumes/ties/wrist watches,
But this em telling story is of 97/98,I didnt see others following same tradition in recent marriages, myself not in favour of these craps extra n useless expences on Inlaws.
but ofcourse too much for Groom like Denim shaving kit, purfume, shirts, ties etc. although he as a groom deserves gifts :)
