Lekin kuch log samajhtey hain ke kaddo bhi ghiyya hi hota hai.

And then we have ash gourd which is called petha in urdu and hindi. It is used to make a very very delicous mithai.

But all of them belong to the same family of plants - Cucurbitacae!
Melon, water melon, pumpkin, water pumpkin, ash gourd, garma, sarda, loki, kachri, tori, karela, kakri, khera, tinday and what not!
