Where do you guys get the 72 number from? I've said it before and I'll say it again that the Hoor Al-'Ayn aren't our main attraction for Pradise, for a lot of Muslims they don't even cross their minds, it's mostly you Non-Muslims who I hear harping on about them...
First off, Hoor al-Ain means white part of the eye... this word is NOT used in the Quran. The word used in the Quran is Hoor-in Een, and it means appointed companion (no gender associated). From the way I see it, a husband and wife are hoor-in Een for each other even in this life.

Actually it does make sense but I will try to confirm it inshaAllah.
You are right its not hur al ain but hur ineen or in een, but I'm not so sure about the meanings yet.

just in case you did not know, hoor is a unisex term and it means only people that have big eyes.
