I don’t think it exists in western culture. Among some South Indian communities like Aishwarya Rai’s , the son marries into the wife family per tradition and lives with inlaws. This is because they are matrilineal system of descent and kinship. It is same with Nairs of Kerala. Both communities were claim descent from warrior communities.
It still happens today in many families.

You mean Aishwariya’s brother married to his cousin?
