I like the idea of opening windows. Also using anti-bacterial sprays - there are ones for the air and ones that you spray onto surfaces.
For immune system, a good vitamin and extra vitamin c. Recent reports have been praisin extra vitamin D too but that one you need to be careful about because its one of those things that too much can be dangerous.
When we come down with something, those Zicam products really do seem to shorten the severity and duration. BUT the best thing I found this year is Concentrated Oil of Oregano capsules. They were expensive - $30 for a bottle of 30 tiny gelcaps. But for the very first time ever, we've have one boy get sick and not the others. The skinny son who we worry about, he had always taken so long to get well. But this year with the oregano, he gets well as quickly as anyone else.
I was worried about swine flu so I went googling around for natural antivirals and thats how I found it. This stuff is a natural antiviral, antibiotic and antiparasitic. Good stuff!!
