PCG, the only thing I will disagree with is the "edumacation". A degree doesn't mean he will treat you with respect. A degree won't mean he will be kind, considerate and compassionate. A degree doesn't mean he will treat you fairly. It is quite possible for a person to hold a really high paying job and be able to treat you like dirt at the same time.

Lol, PCg you are on a roll today madam.
At some point in my life I thought like that about men…except my dad, of course. Then I realized that many marriages go wrong because either of the spouse get into the relationship with way too many expectations.
The thing is that women are really not as complicated as we seem. Even on GS I have come accross some strange strange men folk :no:.
Women just need security. The trouble starts when women expect the men to fight their battles and keep proving themselves. Wives need to let go and learn to overcome.
Men, you guys need to give your wife some room. Stop comparing her with your ma because she isn’t, and your moms aren’t your wives.
It’s really simple and the men and women who have learned the art of balancing are few but they do exist. It takes both parties though.
