BOTH; Captain Nasimullah & Captain Aarij of PIA 777 Boeing flight from Lahore to Manchester were kind to invite me to the cockpit where I stayed around 4 hours and saw the amazing mechanism… flying over various countries…wondering that this small cabin caters to the destinations of over 400 passengers from one point to the other…1000’s of miles away.
The landing was most amazing…and absolutely wonderous;

Huddersfield is some 20 minutes train journey from Manchester Picadilly via Bolton. Its a fairly large town and has a historical railway station almost 88 years of age or more!
MEETING THE JOLLY TRUMPETEERS & SINGING WITH
THEM THE WONDERFUL “JINGLE BELLS” WAS FUN
AS CHRISTMAS APPROACHETH THERE IN HUDDERSFIELD THAT DAY!
I think its a good idea to travel around the world when you are old and done. Perhaps I would do that too - but not sure if I would do that alone - have to be careful about health and all. Should have some medic support standby.

Good show!
I am never alone! on Foreign Trips! My ALLAH is always around!
True said, but thats true in every single human being's case. My point was, its a good idea to stay on a safer side - after a certain age things start to wear out and it could turn messy. You wouldnt want that in some strange land - I wouldnt.
Its just that I believe there should be more survival and healthcare awareness amongst the senior fellows, esp those who have to travel.
I quite agree with you. BUT I'll let you in a SECRET today..friend.
I am 59 of age...but in my mind and thoughts and by action...I act and feel and carry on like 29 ! and the day I feel that I am OLD...I'd leave my dreams behind!
Back in Europe...I danced, I sang, I ballroomed, I had the guts to go to a german female and seek her hand inside the Hapsburg Castle in BALLROOM and mock out a dance with clapping by our tour mates. I wish they allowed cameras inside the castle that I could have taken the picture.
Another interesting point for you.....
Back in Manchester--my cousin almost fainted when I told him that I walked from OLD TRAFFORD to STOCKPORT Bridge...the distance of 21 KM.......while in 2007, both Zulfi & Tasmina at Glasgow...were stunned when I walked from SECC to their home at Newlands Road, Pollokshields.
Dua Karen Ke ALLAH himmat aur sehatt qaim rakhay ! (A'meen)
arjay, please dont , this is one of the best threads i have seen in the travel forum.
just because some ppl have axes to grind or want to pass snide comments in the guise of being 'concerned citizens" please dont let that detract you from sharing your journeys with others. I was enjoying this thread until the disintegration that started a page back.
Please dont get into a match of words in such cases and just send a note to the moderator who will step in to clear unrelated, unwarranted, and frankly undesirable crap out of a good thread.
You are welcome janaab, but please dont stop .. post more pics from this trip . your captions of each picture are very value added .. make every picture even more interesting to look at ..
