Well, allegations which are justified should be raised. But this case is a total Nawaz ploy. Nawaz is using ol’ friend Jang to use this opportunity to jump on ISI and Army. His purpose is civilian dictatorship. Just like what he tried in his last term, and which ultimately resulted in the coup.
ISI did murder journalists earlier. Like Saleem Shahzad. But the manner in which Mir was attacked is totally un-ISI like. Such hit-and-run method is more a Taliban tactic than that of a powerful systematic organization like ISI.
ISI could have kidnapped him and ensured that he was dead for sure, instead of first threatening him and then employing a method which leaves risk of survival of victim.
Taliban has threatened Mir earlier for his support to Malala.

The Pakistani Taliban have said they were behind a failed attempt on Monday to kill one of Pakistan’s best known television presenters, Hamid Mir.
Half a kilogram of explosives was found under Mr Mir’s car outside his home in the capital, Islamabad.
The Taliban threatened Mr Mir and other journalists for their coverage of the militants’ shooting of schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai last month.
She and two other girls were injured but survived.
In a phone call to the BBC Urdu service, a Taliban spokesman said **they would target Mr Mir, who works for Geo News, a Pakistani private television channel, and other journalists in the future**.
