Geo Vs ISI

Re: Geo Vs ISI

Ha! You must think very highly of yourself in that case.

And where did you get that from? I would like to know. Perhaps it’s you who need to stop being the judge on my views. I appreciate your attempt to be profound, but please refrain from drawing any unnecessary assumptions. Maybe reading my posts from the very first page of this thread may help you make a better argument against me. Just for the sake of record, I do not want to see a bloody TV channel emerge as a replacement for another Holy Cow, so please register this. I will not waste anymore breadth explaining this numerous times.

Now your posts carry a generous amount of paranoia. I’m neither moved nor amused by that. But I will have to say that you are severely mistaken if you think I advocate ‘weakening’ of Army (whatever on earth that really means in Pakistan) to strengthen other institutions. You are simply seeing (or just assuming) what you want to see (or imagine). But the points remains, the civilian anchor person you deem inferior to a military man makes thousands of programs lambasting politicians, elected heads of the parliament, judges, businessmen, activists, locals and foreign powers throughout the year, but it takes couple of reporting on Balochistan issue to have the entire army feel all threatened and weakened? An army that feels so weak at a mere mention of its name in any critical report is not a strong army to begin with. Why is it a crime and sin in Pakistan to report on Balochistan and say that the stakeholders have failed?

If desiring just a mere minimal level of accountability, transparency, communication and efficiency is akin to weakening the army (only in Pakistan!) so be it.
