i'm still not getting it, any suggestions? i get both american and paki channels (2 dish) so what does it mean to be on 61.5? i know if have 119...

Sheraz you need to read properly if you really want to know the answer. I would suggest to read all the posts above.
As I said its not offical yet, its being tested so you won't be able to see the channel unless u mess with your dish reciever. Or if you have direct connection with Charlie :). Hope that helps.
Teaser, Spock, kman and myself did power cycle.
It's when you update your receiver. Like I mentioned to TUMS, go to MENU, select 6,1,5 then select WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
Turn to channel 101, then turn it off for 30min. It will power cycle and hopefully download the latest firmware. (Dishnetwork let out the latest software on Feb 19th).
Now don't go off phoning Dishnetwork and complaining your not getting it. It will come to everyone. Takes time. Hopefully by this weekend you should all get it.

just 2 correct u kman, GEO is based in Dubai, UAE, they are sending there signals from their news studios is in Dubai... but most of the programs are made in PAK....

Fasal is right, Geo news room is in Dubai.(tahts hwo they manage to present pretty open news). But there whole news network is wokring in conjunctions with Jang Newspaper Group.
