GEO made these people household names & their owners are loaded. Btw, Jang group had fight with every govt going back to 60s. They were almost shut down by NS in late 1990s & even Mush shut down GEO. Also, they were forced to broadcast from London b/c their office in Dubai was shut down under pressure from Mush. As for IK allegations, GEO gave PTI more airtime compare anyone else before 2013 elections.

I have always found Hassan Nisar to be depressingly pessimistic. Even though his analysis were always very raw, brutally honest and full of straight to the point, hard hitting truths, but for some reasons he could never present a solution to any of the problems. But you know that things have changed when Hasan Nisar is the new Pheonix of hope and optimism, lol!
But in all seriousness, it is absolutely wonderful and almost unbelievable to see Hasan Nisar showing optimism and having some faith in the young generation of Pakistan. At last! He must be quite delighted to finally see the eruption of *bezaari *and *shaoor *in Pakistan that he persistently tried to invoke in his writings. The absence of these Iqbalist ideas in the country envisioned by the great thinker himself was often quoted as one of the main reasons behind country's lack of progress and intellectual deficit.
In regards to his employers, Hasan Nisar must be bound by legal contract hence still with Geo, or he simply likes to use their platform to expose and outlaw their agenda. But considering how Geo has lost massive viewership, they probably wouldn't want to let go of someone like Hasan Nisar. People will tun in from other channels to catch his show.

Hasan Nisar has come out of closet recently so lets see how long GEO can handle him. Also he has his own following and audience and I am sure GEO do not want to see Hasan Nisar go after Kamran Khan and Amir Liaqat Hussain (Bhai) :)
Yeah he was always for change and all but he has only recently started openly backing up PTI only after Haroon Rasheed backed out. These journalists position (and re-position) themselves regularly.
