Thats the first time I ever heard such a thing. Is there an authentic source or available?
Re: Genuine Query
no, it is wrong....
what Quran says is as follows:
Quran 2:221
*And do not marry the idolatresses until they believe, and certainly a believing maid is better than an idolatress woman, even though she should please you; and do not give (believing women) in marriage to idolaters until they believe, and certainly a believing servant is better than an idolater, even though he should please you; these invite to the fire, and Allah invites to the garden and to forgiveness by His will, and makes clear His communications to men, that they may be mindful. *
Re: Genuine Query
also see:
Quran 24:3
The adulterer shall not marry save an adulteress or an idolatress, and the adulteress none shall marry save an adulterer or an idolater. All that is forbidden unto believers.
which indicates that an adulterating woman (muslims or not) is not fit for a muslim to wed....
either rvikz hs misunderstood or he thinks all maids commit adultery....
Re: Genuine Query
I wonder how rvikz arrived at the ‘muslim women committing adultery’ part ![]()
Re: Genuine Query
if you comit adultery what is punishment 100 lashes but when you try leave the religen death penalty is punishment is it true?
Re: Genuine Query
Yes it is true. Still how does that help u deduce your initial statement?
Re: Genuine Query
loylaty to allah is more important than anything else that is my question?
Re: Genuine Query
Believing in Allah and his absolutelness is step one without which you can go no further.
Re: Genuine Query
RVkiz, Mother teresa is in hell. Case closed.
Re: Genuine Query
good deeds dont count if you belong to wrong religen?
Re: Genuine Query
Ofcourse they do rvikz. All good deeds have their reward whether it is in this world or the hereafter.
The flow of this thread will be amusing as always. We started from an incorrect statement for which you have no proof and you will take some 20 different routes to build connections and prove what you said.
Re: Genuine Query
Nope.... you will be rewarded in this life. You are still going to hell though. So if a muslim woman is an adulterer she might be lashed and repent and go to heaven But a non-muslim woman who might be the most virtuous person is definitely going to hell. I hope that is clear to you. The question you have to ask is whether you want to be in heaven with a bunch of intolerant adultering folks.
Re: Genuine Query
Femme it's simple. What he's saying is that a Muslim woman gets off easier if commits adultery but a virtuous non-Muslim woman does not according to Islam (as deduced by lashes vs death).
Re: Genuine Query
this verse explains treatment of non-believers and people who do good deeds
SHAKIR: Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice
Re: Genuine Query
Lashes vs death. Can't say which one is worse than the other. I don;t think i'ld live thru a hundred lashes either so in my case death would probably be the easy way off.
Whats wrong with the verse Rvikz? Do you have a problem with that too? If Allah is asking his believers to be just with non-believers of good deeds what makes you think He Himself would treat them unjustly?
Its not for you or me or anyone else to say who will end up where. I am sure you have heard the story about the prostitute who was sent to heaven cos she fed a hungry dog as opposed to a very relgious man who didn't. Im not very sure how the story goes but it was somehting like that. Its up to Allah to forgive and punish and we would all be better off not speculating about it and stirring up useless arguments.
Re: Genuine Query
yes .. punishment for adultery is 100 lashes..
and NO .. punishment for “leaving the religion” is NOT a death penalty..
consider these verses dealing with the believers who then disbelieve:
[3:86] How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and (after) they had borne witness that the Messenger was true and clear arguments had come to them; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.
[3:87] (As for) these, their reward is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and of men, all together.
[3:88] Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited.
[3:89] Except those who repent after that and amend, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[3:90] Surely, those who disbelieve after their believing, then increase in unbelief, their repentance shall not be accepted, and these are they that go astray.
[3:91] Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers.
PakistaniAbroad: It’s pretty clear that Allah is the one who’ll deal with such people and He may even decide to forgive some.. (pretty tough
Re: Genuine Query
Chapter : 4 (Al-Nisa') Verse : 138 [Short Commentary]
Those who believe, then disbelieve, then again believe, then disbelieve and then increase in disbelief, Allah will never forgive them nor will He guide them to the right way.
Chapter : 27 (Al-Naml) Verse : 93 [Short Commentary]
'And to recite the Qur'an. So whoever follows guidance follows it only for the good of his own soul; and as to him who goes astray, say, 'I am only a Warner.'
These verses catagorically rejects your claim that when you leave your religion, you are punishable by death.
Re: Genuine Query
Commiting adultery is one of the gravest sins. I dont think a muslim woman performing such an act is being loyal to Allah.
