Yes, I absolutely condone the usage of such procedures in cases/regions where there is little to no education and social trends have not evolved.
I'd rather have women in rural areas of both India and Pakistan using thermometers than taking crude poisons or undergoing unsafe surgeries to have abortions.

I didn't suggest that the method is foolproof. I would, however, suggest it over ultra-sound and abortion but that is because I personally have reservations about abortion.
