That’s the electoral process more than anything…the same parties will select the electoral commissioners, put the bureaucracy in place and conduct elections. The army is in the sidelines, it was in a bad condition before RS took over, he has turned the image around. If Nawaz sharif continues like he has been, I don’t see them staying aloof of the situation.

I know you can’t, as the situation now is much better than when ppp was ruling. The difference between that tenure and this is RS, I know jyalas can’t see this but others can.

Like kaka mentioned, ppp was least interested in governing. Their motto of coming to power is just to mint money…it’s the same zardari who gave extension to kayani…he should have manned up and refused extension. Anyways no one buys the ppp logic anymore, they have government in Sindh for the past more than two decades, let them develop it and then think of something else. But that would again involve governance which is not really forte of ppp.

PPP can’t take any success in security measures because they simply believe army and establishment are out against any political successes. They can’t give any credit for security improvement to NS because he is their political opponent, they can’t give credit to army because its a very big sin.

Not only PPP but every political party , If you see PTI , they knew , every thing regarding CPEC is going wrong with KPK , Only PK lightly speak on the issue but IK never speak about CPEC because of this Takht e Lahore - Establishment nexus . PPP dares to speak because they are brave .
Raheel Shareef was just a man without a brain , well used by establishment to get some popularity . I am afraid mostly in Pakistan ethnic thinking has taken place over Pakistani nationalism .

Gen. Raheel Sharif did some good work in improve situation in improving the situation in Karachi and moving the focus back to India as the prime enemy, however his negative points were his involvement in politics, supporting dharnas and self publicity.
