Credit goes to NS and co for observing the rules in retiring more powerful than who appointed them There is one paid section of Pakis who only praise generals and pretend that these Pakistani generals are Gods on earth. No one including generals’ tenure be extended at any cost. They retire at 60 years of age and go home and live happily ever after.

It doesn’t work like that in the military (that is true for judiciary only). Once promoted to the rank of 4 star general (even if it is a day before they are due to retire), both CJCSC and COAS get three year’s extension

And it is a PM’s prerogative. Although I agree with you that he should have announced Raheel’s successor’s name by now, PM is perfectly within his rights to do so any time before 29th Nov (when the current COAS is due to retire).
My guess is it will be announced on Friday or Saturday

بڑی مشکل سے ہوتا ہے چمن میں دیدہ ور پیدادیدہ ور کا مطلب ہے صاحب نظر، اور اس معانی میں جنرل راحیل شریف مکمل فٹ ہوتا ہے۔ ایک نیم نام گھرانے کا سپوت جس کے خاندان میں پہلے ہی دو دو نشان حیدر ان کی بہادری، اور وطن سے محبت کا ثبوت ہیں۔ جب جنرل بنتا ہے تو اس کی خوبیوں میں بڑی خوبی اس کا اس خاندان سے ہونا بتائی جاتی ہے۔ اور پھر چشم فلک نے دیکھااندرونی اور بیرونی طور پر پاکستان کے گرداب میں پھنسے ہونے کے باوجود اپنے طاقتور بازو قوم کی دہشتگردی کے بھنور میں پھنسی کشتی کو نکالنے کے لئے تن من دھن سے استعمال کئے اور آج مکمل نہیں تو بڑی حد تک اس ناسور کو ختم کردیا گیا۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ
