Gaza Under attack

Re: Gaza Under attack

More than UN shame on US and the west who shamefully support the IDF terrorists, every time news comes through that the IDF terrorist have massacred more innocent Palestinians including women and children, US and west shout from rooftop these terrorist have a right to self defence. Lakh lanat upon them. as I said at the start of this thread that Centcom will not come here to condemn the IDF terrorists. says it all.

Indulging in petty blame games or parroting the same old 'he said she said' lines and running through the recycled 'he did she did' stories is hardly being 'objective'. With 1000 dead, common sense would suggest that the situation is now beyond beating the dead horse which is the chronology of events that triggered this genocide.

If anyone wants to have a go at being objective then he/she must talk about the elephant in the room which is the nine year old illegal and absolutely inhumane blockade of Gaza. If Palestinians are not allowed to refer to this blockade as tyranny then what are they meant to call it? It's an easy way out to overly inflate Hamas' war of words (wheras plenty of Isreali MPs on record have also uttered equally despicable statements) as an excuse to distract the public opinion from talking about 'the big picture' which is the Gaza blockade (also a condition for long term ceasefire).

There is simply no local solution to Palestine - Israel crisis. The situation requires honest international intervention, and when I say international intervention, I do not mean pouring trillion of US tax dollars into Isreali defence and vice versa.

Re: Gaza Under attack

Didnt you know Israel has the right of self defence and in the process carry out genocide, hence the red light to give Israel the right to carry on with the genocide or abstain to give tactical support to them..

Re: Gaza Under attack

All of European countries and their puppet African colonies didn't vote. It shows where their support lies.

Re: Gaza Under attack

so what now?

Re: Gaza Under attack

here is another example of classic barbarism from both sides..IDF and Hamas

UN shelter hit by missile and poor 15 innocents killed…you see the pics and you fill with grief and tears and just pray god for some justice
(http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/24/world/meast/mideast-crisis/index.html)

but that is one half of the story…lets see the other half…here is UN relief agency condemning only few days ago storing stockpiles of bombs by hamas in its 2 schools in Gaza…these 2 were found by UN agency…there could be many more. http://www.unrwa.org/newsroom/press-releases/unrwa-condemns-placement-rockets-second-time-one-its-schools

isn’t that equally heinous of hamas for storing missiles in UN run school thinking IDF may not attack there…here is another example how shamelessly hamas using human shield … why was hamas doing it? why?

now that absolutely does not give IDF a justification to attack these schools and what IDF is doing a brutal criminal act but those who support hamas one way or the other…oh well i am sure they will come up with some unique explanation to defend hamas.

Palestinians evacuate a building after what witnesses said were warning Israeli air strikes next to their homes in Gaza City.Reuters

The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees has discovered rockets stored by Hamas in one of its vacant schools in the Gaza Strip, between two other facilities that currently house around 3,000 displaced Palestinians.
It is the second time in a week that the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed it found missiles hidden in a vacant school.
“Today, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip,” the agency said.
“As soon as the rockets were discovered, UNRWA staff were withdrawn from the premises, and so we are unable to confirm the precise number of rockets.”
The school is situated between two other UNRWA schools that currently accommodate 1,500 internally displaced Palestinians.
“UNRWA strongly and unequivocally condemns the group or groups responsible for this flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law,” the agency said.
The report adds to Israeli narrative that Hamas hides rockets among civilian population and uses Gazans as human shields.
The UN agency came under fire last week for handing the 20 rockets it had found over to “local authorities”.
Critics in Israel said the missiles “were passed on to the government authorities in Gaza, which is Hamas”. But UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness denied the rockets went back to Hamas.
“UNRWA did not give the rockets to Hamas,” he said. “The rockets were taken away by bomb disposal experts that were answerable to the newly formed government of national consensus, which Hamas has left.”

Re: Gaza Under attack

I wish Hamas would stop firing rockets ... when they know its not making an ounce of difference why don't they just stop?

Re: Gaza Under attack

This is really a catch 22 situation. The Gazan's as most posters in this thread have pointed out are living in a virtual jail, with their access cut off to their East (Israel) and West (Egypt). The way the Israelis are building their settlements in West Bank cannot be condoned as well. We can discuss if Hamas's tactics can achieve anything or not, maybe they are using it as a desperate measure. I personally think firing rockets will not achieve anything, but then again maybe we living in free air gauge feel their anguish.

Re: Gaza Under attack

copy of kerry’s ceasefire draft (see below) which was rejected by Israelis whereas Hamas never gave any response

Sources say that Hamas rejected it because according to the terms of the draft, the Israel Defense Forces would not be asked to withdraw from the Gaza Strip during the cease-fire, but would only be forbidden from continuing to operate against the tunnels it has located.

I think it was a mistake by Hamas because the third clause is very sympathetic to Hamas’ core demands: arrangements to secure the opening of crossings, allow the entry of goods and people and ensure the social and economic livelihood of the Palestinian people living in Gaza, transfer of funds to Gaza for the payment of salaries for public employees and address all security issues"

Israelis as always exhibited their arrogance and sources say that they rejected it ***because there was no one mention of demilitarizing the Gaza Strip of its rocket supply or advanced weapons, and not the dismantling of the terror tunnels while the draft preemptively demanded for hamas’s core demands to be met ***…

israeli cabinet also said that within Kerry’s draft, ***Egypt’s traditional role of supervising implementation of the agreement has been passed to Turkey and Qatar – two states which support Hamas and are hostile to Israel

Collective punishment is a War Crime! No it cannot be justified no matter how hard one may try. How hard it is for some people to understand and condemn this? Condemning the mere barbarity and illegality of collective punishment does not mean you must support one side. Gaza crisis: UN claims Israel did not allow evacuation from shelter before strikes - as it happened | World news | theguardian.com

There’s an article by local Israeli columnist on Guardian that basically highlights how Nuttyyahoo and his government played the game of provocation by making massive sweeps against Hamas and somehow holding them responsible for the murder of three Israeli boys, even though they failed to prove any evidence. It’s another thing that some people would use posting of offensive image on FB as more than enough reason to kill 1,000 and injure 6,000 people in space of three weeks. Somehow it all adds up and make perfect sense as long as it’s the Israelis who claim to feel offended. What surprises me is those who loudly call Hamas a ‘terrorist organisation’ also expect picture perfect morality from them in the same breath. What kind of logic is that? If posting offensive images on social media sites by declared terrorist group is enough for so called liberal and peace loving democracy to unleash absolute hell on innocent civilians then I reckon it makes perfect sense for someone like India and US to also nuke the hell out of Pakistan. Any takers?

In other news, IDF murdered two Palestinians teenagers (some reports suggest three) in ongoing West Bank protests over Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza. Now what? It probably doesn’t matter.

Very interesting. Beautiful and short historic footage of Palestine before the turn of last century.

It’s a shame that civilization had to regress to the current state of affairs under the evil influence of ZioNazi-ism.

Re: Gaza Under attack

Having lost another war, I can see Israel now trying to achieve through a ceasefire what they could not through genocide.

Israel has lost 43 soldiers in this genocide attempt in Gaza, which is more than all the previous ones combined.
