Gay/lesbian friends

Re: Gay/lesbian friends

Let’s see here and discuss your answers.

You said:

**1) I know because not every man catches my eye. Not every woman catches yours.
**
You talked about yourself here and me. But made remark about ‘me’ earlier. You have no idea of ‘my’ looks. So you just made a remark about me without knowing my looks. True?

Again, nothing to do with being homophobic since being acquaintance is not what I disapproved. One can work with them, associate with them casually with no issues.

**2) It is much more discriminating…partners, clothes, fragrance, etc etc etc. It’s something I’ve noticed.
**
Yes, the attraction is discriminatory for anyone, no doubt about it.

But the question was based on you saying somehow gays are more discriminatory than females. You implied as if homosexual men are more discriminatory. Not proven.

**3) I am approving homosexuality just as much as I am approving stealing, pre-marital sex, shirk, eating pork, etc etc etc. To clarify, I am not approving it. I just know its not my place to condemn people.
**

So essentially you are not approving it. And I myself did not ‘condemn’ it by any means. Only gave religious perspective. Didn’t even bring sin element until you talked about it.

**Yes, it is socially unacceptable and hence those who choose not to be ‘friends’ with homosexuals are justified.
**
I only answered for those who would not want to make gays/lesbians ‘friends’. This certainly does not mean one has to be hostile to them as I mentioned above.
