also you should know that abuse is not just that they may be mistreated by the staff at the orphanages, but by others that they come across. the exploitation of orphans is a huge business, this includes sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Forced childs prostitution where the less fortunate kids end up at is also a major issue, and bonded labour type lifestyle is another sentence they get. and abuse...physical, mental, sexual from their controllers happens and can
the question is not of gays being great or not, the question is about whether the orphans get a better shot at life being adopted by a gay couple than by living in an orphanage or being out on the street..
some people are focusing on tha gay part in the question, and others are focusing on the orphan part of the question, rest are questioning god knows what.

right, and to some of teh children in such a situation, the principle against being raised by gay couple can take a backseat to the principle against being sexually abused. Which is the lesser wrong...I guess only a person in such a situation really can choose...but lets not take away their ability to choose or reduce their options, whether we prsonally like those options or not.

Ou nabi -pak, before dieing said that he has completed our religion for us. And he advised for us to Stick to his suunah, and we will never go wrong.
He showed us the way of marriage= which was nikah, and only done between man and women. He did not condone nor advocate same sex marriages, infact he shuuned it as we know.
therefore there is no such type of marriage in islam of gays.and therefore thier relationship is absolutly haram, and they would also be subject to the sins and penalties of such relations, which would be the normal of 100 lashes or stoning to death each time they engage in intimacy.
So ok, putting aside, the gay-prohibiton issue for a second, even viewing this subject from a normal relationship perspective, it would turn out to be the same as fornication and illegal relationship and be condemned with major punishment.

I have shown to you there is no such thing as gay marriage, and therefore (in the lightest) it is seen as the same major sin in islam of fornication/adultery, of which the the eventual ends to is hell.

I suggest you look back to what post you responded to before my response. Allowing gays to adopt being "counter productive," is indeed punishing them. "Teaching them a lesson," and punishment are the same.
Who are you to gauge the possibility of the "victimization," of children that have gay parents? Please provide any statistics you have about this. I already provided well known information concerning the rate of MURDER and RAPE in group homes. But yes, you obviously prefer that children brave the probability of murder and rape than to be raised by gay parents.
Because that's exactly what denying gay's to adopt accomplishes. Childless parents and dead or traumatized children.
Definitely not a view I associate with Islam.

There is nothing about punishment here. Its simply stated the fact that gays should not be bigots and if they choose to not have babies, then they should not try to steal others by way of showing false love for children.
If they really love children, they can and should have their own.
The post above clearly and factually mentioned they want to live abnormal and un-natural way of life but want to eat the fruit of their opposite way of life.

**Other part of your post **has something to do with some statistics of orphanage and justifying giving children to gays. You quoted the statistics out of no where or somewhere.
Even if the statistics is accepted as such, does this mean there should not be a prison system where we have similar statistics showing corruption and abuse of prisoners, no rehabilitations of prisoners. I am definitely comparing the **systems **and not children with prisoners in case you have this skewed idea by my statement.
Second example:
One can find the same kind of statistics that from people who go to college/school 'X' many become criminals, murderers and 'X' many commit rape.
So lets close all colleges, right?

Since politicians in a democratic country may be misusing their power or their might be corrupted people in the government, lets change the country in to communism!!!?

What amazes me is their nerve to call us ignorant. I mean aren't they **ignorant in calling us narrow-minded just because our opinion is **different to theirs? This thread will drag on. A person with half a brain woould realize after reading over 150 replies that its been established that homosexuals are unnatural. They can do whatever they like privately but giving them children would seriously undermine the whole family concept. No matter what anyone says a child growing with two daddies or two mummies will not have the same mentality from a child who grows in a traditional family. Who will the child (in a homosexual home) call mother or father? To deny that sacred right to a child would be extremely harsh.
Obvious really, just need some common sense.
As someone pointed out there are plenty of childless couples before we turn to homosexuals.
