Indian presenter and model Gauahar Khan was left audibly traumatised after a member of the audience at a TV competition she was presenting at got up and slapped her for wearing revealing clothes.
Akil Malik, 24, took offence at Khan’s cutaway outfit as she presented the grand finale of singing competition Raw Star at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai. He then got up out of his seat to threaten and assault her live on air.

Could be for show's publicity or whatever.....but if it really happened for those reasons then what a jaahil idiot this dude 'akil malik' is. who is he to slap anyone just because they are dressed up in a revealing outfit. he should be punished for his actions.

if Aqil Makik was/is so conservative/sensitive, what the hell he was doing there? enjoying the half nude women and then his morality suddenly got offended and he sneaked through the security cordon to get close enough to slap her. waah jii, waah!
btw, nudity is not alien to Bollywood and Mumbai. what he does on the street? does he slap every other woman on the road who wears revealing clothes. 
probably he will defend him self in the court by saying:
“i’m such a hunk happen to be standing next to her when she tried to kiss me and that’s why i slapped her…she is guilty of sexual harassment”.

I doubt it's a publicity stunt since news is going around that he's been jailed...
I do have to wonder too what he's doing at a show with music and dance numbers if he's that easily offended and religious? What a conflicted soul.
Although I'm not a fan of Gauhar Khan and how women are objectified in the media... no man has the right to abuse a woman like that.
