The projects we cannot do ourselves aren’t going to be helped by the Indians… If we need help, we should seek out advanced countries. Certainly not India.

Why is this so difficult to comprehend?
I would remind you that big projects have been completed without Indians… From the dam projects started early in Paks birth to the most recent Gawadar port, we didnt need assistance of any kind from India.
Infact, considering where Pakistan was at birth in terms of infrastructure and economy as compared to India, Pakistan has done immensly well in building its industrial base and creating an infrastructure that in many ways is better hen and comparable too regional countries. And all this without help from India…
I would make the argument that on the contrary, India’s influence has been a drain, not a boon in any stretch of the imagination. Whatever we have gained we have gained despite India.
