Thekreek - I know what what was the threek - I am from an area of Karachi with strong MQM influence - boys were made to believe that in 1997 Karachi would become independent (a new Hong Kong as they used to say it) and that “thereek lahu mangti hia” - they were used and got killed by Altaf & company in the same way as Islamic suicide bombers.

Karachi has been completely destroyed by MQM and its policies - none of the Universities of Karachi among any top rankings in the world - whereas many from North Pakistan are in 1000 rankings in the world. MQM devastated the thing which Karachi used to be proud of before their arrival.

I don’t think that any political party in Sindh (having dominance in rural or urban parts of the province) has contributed positively towards education. Continuous strikes, boycott of classes, sale of examination centers, involvement of sectors in-charge with booty mafia has destroyed education system in Sindh. PPP has screwed merit by selling teachers’ jobs for hundred thousands. Nationalist parties played major role in destroying education system. Its due to them that students could not complete their programs on time. Hostels remained ammunition storage since long.

Yeh to tum jaisay logon ki samajh nahin aati. I am one and know many muhajirs in karachi + family and they can’t stand altaf anymore with his anti-Pakistan outbursts especially the groveling that he did in front of India in 2005. Can you imagine some low caste or lalu yadev saying that india is a POS in Pakistan?
Mustafa kamal is out of that party so there is nothing left except some galli kay luchchay lafangay.
