We are blaming the single factory owner because some 300+ people have died in this tragic incident. Just let me put things in a very simple way , all these factories are insured and insurance requires risk inspection either by an authorised surveyor or by in house risk inspection officer and they do communicate the flaws and suggest fire safety measures BUT many a times that remains just on papers. However ,many of the responsible industrial units do take a note of suggestions and take necessary measures and ultimately benefit from it.

In this case the factory is insured and most likely the basic requirement/ precautionary measures were ignored.

Every person deserves to be respected whether a business man , a commoner , rick or poor or a memon. Memons are no way superior to any other community. Therefore , I strongly believe that the factory owners can not be just discharged of their mistakes (wilful or unintentional) just because they belong to a particular sect.

Obviously nobody is suggesting that someone should be spared just because that person belongs to a particular community.

Unfortunately this incident broke out in this particular factory. If it would have occurred in any other building in Pakistan I am afraid results would not have been different..

Did you think about the reason why every building whether it is industrial, residential, commercial, or official looks like a jail with grilled windows and single exit point???
