I didn't actually say the film was bad - I just decided not to watch it because DiCaprio was cast as a gangster which seems ridiculous to me. Who gives a flying funk whether it got nominated for Oscars for best and most expensive sets etc? The point is, does the film work? Is it actually a good film to watch for someone who knows what a good film is?
Why don't you leave me to decide what a good film is and you can over the B movies. Or better yet, stick to watching kung fu films.

you just need excuses to put ur pictures man...and it was someone else who played with my picture without my permission but it was kinda funny so i didnt mind..and it wasnt not GQ mag it was Men's Health :)
Well I finally watched this on satellite...I was too stingey to pay £3 to watch it on dvd. It was entertaining in a hokum sort of way. The violence had a cartoon-ish sort of quality, a bit like Itchy and Scratchy. Daniel Day Lewis was great and despite the fact the film was really unconvincing as a gangster movie it WAS good fun.
Where's Alibeta these days....he was having seizures in this thread when I rubbished this film without having seen it?
