I expect is a gritty testosterone film.
Scorsese doesn't have to add twists to plots of do anything wierd and wonderful with the camera, he did all that in mean streets. Just tell a good story, quality of editing, I can't believe this isnt up to scratch to the point of being spotted first time!
A few quality scenes and good music is all I'm asking, Mr Xtreme I'll wait for the DVD too though.

The movie was Ok. Had a few too slow moments and bit too many unnecessary dramatic elements coming apart right in the middle of it but then picked up when Bill kills the Monk. DeCaprio failed to act in this one. Daniel Day Lewis was as marvelous as I had expected. I think he should be nominated for academy awards.
Now comes Ms Cameron Diaz. I don't like her much but she was modestly good in few beginning scenes. Kinda cute. But it flunks everything when she declares to leave DiCaprio right a nigth before the fight that she's leaving him. Here she is, marching off by his side on funerals, negotiating with politicians for the benefit of his cause and everything, supports him in every single way and when the most crucial time arrives, she just wants to get the hell outta there. Whose side you are on, b*tch? That's like crushing someone's morale at the very last minute when he's just about to accomplish the most important thing of his life. Can't you friggin' stay at least one more day? What the jef!
The Newsnight review team sat into it man, they cut it up like Vargas in with Oscar.
