picoico, NO govt has pressured the pakistani govt to help mukhtaran mai. when pakistanis themselves have such 'nice' things to say about a woman that was gang raped why would a foreign govt give a damn. the whole bit about the west putting pakistan down as a result of MMai is far fetched. it is the activists and NGO's promoting her issue. she is going state to state collecting funds for the school she is operating in pakistan and also for the earthquake. whats your point? if she WAS getting the same support in pakistan she would never have resorted to this right? are there not enough people in pakistan that are loaded and also sympathize with MMai? ....... mushy blabs on an on about destroying terrorism....he might as well begin by punishing rapists. but he chose the WRONG choice of words........
