Game of thrones

Anyone else watching it? Why has this season slowed down so much. Nothing has really happened, unless something mega is gonna happen in the final episodes..?

Re: Game of thrones

I think if I were in the world of Game of Thrones, statistically I'd be likely to be a random townsperson, and would favour Danerys Targarian or Tyrian Lannister, on the basis that they seem to be the only characters in the entire series who aren't completely self-serving ****bags (and Tyrian only relatively recently after he found some responsibility). I don't know whether I'd call either of their houses my favourite, though, because the rest of them - yikes.

I think... generally I think I'm going to have to go with Lannister. Yes, barring Tyrian they're awful, awful people, but they do value national stability and order, which is good for the population at large.

Re: Game of thrones

Lol tyrion is probably my favourite aswell. This season has been really really slow. I think they are saving all the drama and action for the final few episodes.

Re: Game of thrones

Thats one thing I have noticed as well. I dont want them to rush all the happenings and cram it all on the last 2 or 3 episodes.

Re: Game of thrones

they have drifted away a lot from the books because the 4/5 book are just okay. There aren't much going on in those books. Moreover, they are merging a lot of characters into one so it will take some time to understand those characters and see something happen.

That being said, GoT has raised our expectations to expect something which we don't expect so much that if it doesn't happen we think that the series is going downhill. Its still my most favorite series ATM.

Re: Game of thrones

As a book reader I can confirm mega things are going to happen but the books have slowed down considerably. They've started to completely deviate from the books because there's little content left with the characters they've chosen to put on screen. I only watch the scenes from the books that I liked otherwise I don't care for the show and their character butchery ways.

Re: Game of thrones

Since its GoT, I must ask, literally or figuratively?

Re: Game of thrones

for some reason i dont watch this show

Re: Game of thrones

Not literally :)

Re: Game of thrones

I think that's exactly what's going to happen or maybe it'll just stay boring.

Re: Game of thrones

There's too much hoopla going on about the latest episode...I'm so glad I stopped watching it after the 2nd season. Rape scenes just disgust and disturb me to the highest.

Re: Game of thrones

rape does and slit throats, eyes gouged, burned alive doesn't?

Re: Game of thrones

Not as much as the former.

Re: Game of thrones

Anyone saw the episode last night?

Re: Game of thrones

After seeing the season finale last week, I think I am done with GoT. How could they kill the best character ever? It's like killing daryl from walking dead. I'm seriously disappointed but i'm hoping that this isn't the end of jon snows story, even though the director has said he really is dead but the books for season 6/7 haven't been written yet. So how could he say it for certain. Time will tell.

Re: Game of thrones

Zinda hai Jon Snow Zinda hai....

Re: Game of thrones

hunch: you don't like it!

Re: Game of thrones

yes i absolutely don't like it.... i don't like the way they have portrayed many aspects in it and yeah etc etc
