Mass effect 2 for me
followed by Alan wake,God of war 3,heavy rain,enslaved odyssey,darksiders..yet to play assassin’s creed brotherhood

Out of all the games I’ve played this year, I’ll also say Mass Effect. Alan Wake was good, but too much of a shooter compared to what I had hoped for seeing the early trailers.

Alan wake had awesome story.u need play the dlcs it covers many missing part of stories.
also some of the good games no played this year would be prince of persia forgotten sands, game had awesome platforming section .dunno why it got low scores from gamespot,ign e.t.c i dont follow this sites anymore.also same goes for darksiders awesome game in my opinon much better than bayonetta.and finally ensalved odyssye another interesting game loved the story.
btw did u check latest trailers for mass effect 3 and elder scrolls v skyrium

I haven’t played many this year, but I think Assassins Creed Brotherhood has got to be the game of the year. I am playing it these days, and the level of detailing, depth of the story and how they have linked everything with historical events, it is just mindblowing.
On an unrelated note, Mass Effect 3 is coming out for PS3 as well right?

just completed sequence 4 in Brotherhood agreed awesome game indeed.
really loving the stealth trying finish it with 100 perercent sync like without getting detected.this is how first two games should have been.btw really hated leonardo flying mission.frustrated with controlls 
coming to goty i still think mass effect 2 is much better game.atleast upto what i have played till now

I love the improvements in fighting esp the execution streaks and the killing sequences, and the fact that you can ride a horse around the city. Oh I do NOT like how the Romulus lairs missions are timed. I like to do stuff in my own sweet time, and when you have a clock ticking on your head it gets kind of annoying. I just can’t get 100% sync in Romulus missions. Also, I heard that with weapons like crossbow and the assassin recruitment feature, the game is not as challenging as it should be. Will see how that goes. For now I am just taking it easy and exploring the city, doing some assassination contracts.
Mass effect is next on my list.

same here cant get 100 percent sync with romulus u need do it in 8 min.
coming to crossbow its an awesome weapon infact best in the game.unlike pistol its does work silent without noice.u need it as games progress.
agreed with assassin makes game little easy.i really hope as game progress game will become even more hard so that guys can come into play.

Well yeah crossbow does sound like an effective weapon, but I really prefer a hidden blade assassination, or at least a nice close combat. When there is a bunch of brutes knocking about, I would occasionally use throwing knives, or well alright perhaps the pistol on a Borgia captain before the mucker runs off. I hope the game really calls for its use when I finally have enough dow to get me a crossbow, instead of making it unnecessarily easy. I really don’t see myself calling on the recruited assassins, I’d rather get my own hands dirty.
