Gaddafi’s son ‘killed’ by kamikaze pilot - report

Muammar Gaddafi’s son, Khamis, has been killed by a kamikaze Libyan air force pilot, reports claimed last night.
The 32-year-old commander of an elite brigade of troops was said to have been blown up when the rebel airman crashed his jet into a military compound in Tripoli.
Khamis, the sixth son of Colonel Gaddafi, reportedly died at a hospital in Tripoli from burn wounds, but the regime quickly denied the reports.
Gaddafi remains in hiding in a desert bunker and yesterday ordered his henchmen to round up innocent women and children as human shields.
Reports say hundreds of civilians were taken to key locations in Tripoli and nearby Misrata to prevent further attacks on his compound.
One resident said: "They are taking people hostage so the resistance cannot engage them.
“They don’t care who they round up but they know once the intelligence services learn there are women and children involved, then they are safe from attack.”
Meanwhile, coalition forces hammered Libya for a third straight night last night, targeting the air defences and forces loyal to Gaddafi’s regime, stopping his advances and handing some momentum back to the rebels, who were on the verge of defeat just last week.
