Once they had captured him alive, the fighters should not have killed him. He should have been arrested and tried in a court. This is the difference between trained armies and unruly militias.

wat happened in tunis and egypt? it was just a change of puppets..so is it in libya...the common man has been common since ages and will remain a common man, dont think there will be any change in their lives...may b lives just get worse for the common man.

Our four Caliphs and RasoolAllah (SAW) before them were all life long leaders ... If there ever should be a leader he should be supported for as long as he can rule justly ... We don't overthrow corporate CEOs are they not life long leaders?

True stability comes with consistency ... democracy has a place - that is entertainment and preoccupation for the masses ... while capitalist oligarchs lead from the shadows - for life long leaderships ... they ensure the public elect the puppets and they put on the puppet show for us to watch ...

I hope you are not comparing people like Gadaffi to Caliphs and RasoolAllah (SAW). Beside, time are diff now & you can't have life long leaders w/o any accountability.

Btw, even 3 out of four Caliphs were assassinated. So, they were not not life long leaders (i.e.,living and governing duration of their natural lives).

He came to power throw a coop, and his rule on Libya was accepted by all world, that is enough to make him legitimate leader of the state...other the world forces should have moved 40 years ago... not after 40 years...

^ not long before they would be declared terrorists. Interesting how almost all ‘leaders’ of Islamic Summit of 1974 died unnatural deaths, most of them benefited sponsorship from CIA.
