thats what i thot u meant…but secular laws cant stop u from adultery, can they?

though I do think that there are laws against gambling and alcoholism (driving while intoxicated etc)…but not against consensual sex.

Secular laws can stop me or at least punish me for adultery. If I cheat on my wife in USA, i can lose eberything if she decided to go to the court.

religion, the way we practise it is driven by our upbringing… not necessarily the society..

Society learned its morality from religion. Caveman did not have the same moral values as we have.

theres the difference i think, religion drives us to be a better person from the inside for ourselves and morality alone is dependent mainly on external influences.
