salaam walia’kum
Yes i have finaly accepted Islam’s challenge to be a good muslim. I was born and raised in a pakistani family where, if i prayed or not it was all upto me. Yes my parents were religious but “i” never bothered prayed or fasting or anything.
To those brothers n sisters who are living in da life of sins, who are taking this life for granted and the one’s who think that this life is all about money and fast cars and dating model chicks…you are totaly lost. i’ve finaly decided to quit smooking, hanging with bad friends, evil deeds…yea i am a bit late in life, but hopefuly god will forgive me for my sins.
I shall no longer concentrate on making large cash amounts cuz it comes added with alot of stress and restlessness, instead i will start a small LEGIT business.
I shall no longer think about finding me a model look alike wife, i will search n settle for a muslim girl who is on the right track and who has the courage to help me learn more things about islam.
I will forget the friends who alwayz led me to evil things. and i shall become more involved in my community and make friends at the mosque who can teach me a bit more about islam also.
I shall quit smooking, music with swear words because these things intoxicate ur mind and lead u to do evil.
Lets make a dua for all ummah..(specially for the ones who are trapped in making too much money living materialistic world, for who want to change)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Ever Merciful
-Our Lord! We have sinned against ourselves, and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost (7:23)
-Our Lord! Take us not to task if we forget or fall into error. (2:286)
-Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear, grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us. You are our Protector. Help us against those who deny the truth. (2:286)
- Our Lord! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a comfort to our eyes, and give us the grace to lead those who are conscious of You. (25:74)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Ever Merciful. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, Most Gracious, Ever Merciful; Master of Day of Judgement. Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help. Guide us along the right path, the path of those whom Thou has bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray.
Ameen
