I am sure there would be many more, but recently I have come across two statements from indian movies, which I heard from TV while in a friends house. A muslim (in movie) said this:
"Yeh hindue Allah ka bohat naik banda hai "
" Is (hindue) ko koi kuch nahin keh sakta, kyunke is ke pass Imaan ki taqat hai, aur jis ke pass imaan ki taqat ho uska saath to Allah bhi deta hai"
lol, no offense to hindues but this is not how common muslims believe. I wouldn’t have minded if they had used “Ishwar” instead of “Allah”. Also the word "Imaan" belongs to Islam only.

This hindu is a very pious worshipper of Allah.
" Is (hindue) ko koi kuch nahin keh sakta, kyunke is ke pass Imaan ki taqat hai, aur jis ke pass imaan ki taqat ho uska saath to Allah bhi deta hai"
Iman( 'It is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and in the divine destiny of both good and evil'.) is an Arabic word and whoever has Iman is called a Mu'min(believer).
And we muslims don’t even know ourselves the meaning of Islamic terms.
We muslims are so much in Bollywood movies and dramas that we don’t even realize these blatant mistakes and contradictions.
Some of my muslim relatives, they offer salaat and then sit down to watch Idol worshipping in indian dramas, I’ve left going to their house in the evening because of their ultimate love for Star plus, and when I go to their house I try to leave before 5 ‘o’ clock.
Brother, Hindu is a geographical name given to all those who live in Hindustan (India). therefore, a Muslim who lives in Hindustan (india) can be called Hindu geographically and that person may have the power of Imaan by obeying Allah and submitting his will to Allah (SWT).
Harmeen01 rightly defined the word Imaan **( 'It is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and in the divine destiny of both good and evil'.) **is an Arabic word and whoever has Iman is called a Mu'min(believer).
Brother reon, I understand your point, but I remember the above mentioned words were used for a person who was shown hindue **"by religon" **in the movie.i.e. he was believer of **Hinduism **religon
p.s. I didn't see the whole movie, my friends were watching it, it were just these words which attracted my intention and made me do the investigation.
Tell me abt it, its so annoying, when every1 is glued to freakin dramas and gana shows! its not the religious thing that bugs me just the… i dont know how anyone can take em seriously!
My mother was an avid watcher of dramas and it wud bug me, that i cudnt talkt o her at certain times…but u know, that was her “treat” of the day for herself so i shouldn’t bug much… but she felt it was getting too much for her when she actually felt sick and sad after watching the dramas, and she had those channels cut off, and quit cold turkey..its been over a year now shes stopped watching

Thanks friend for the kind response. It is only the difference of perspective, which convinces us of anything to be appropriate or inappropriate. I am sure we both are sincere in our way of understanding and I believe sincere search always leads to truth. Though my intentions never were to hurt anyone's feelings, kindly forgive me if you felt offended by any of my posts.
May Allah (swt) bless us all towards the right path.
