Pakistan Affairs can get very tense; infact, it’s most true to its’ form when tense. But every once in a while it’s good to take a step back.
So, I keep hearing Ishaq Dar’s quoted pledge that goes something like:
‘We will look IMF in the eyes when asking for a loan, and will not agree to disadvantageous terms and conditions’. I personally find that to be quite amusing. How do you pose an upper hand going into ask for a loan? Does such a thing exist?
