What do you guys think about full-sleeve bridal outfits? I think they look very elegant, but the down side is that most of my mehndi will be hidden, and how can I wear churiyan?
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
if you make them of a thinner material like chiffon, your chooriyan should easily slide through, and you will have mehendi on your palms and the backs of your hands which will be showing :)
Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
Love the look but not having long sleeves because of my karas and bangles that have to be worn for tradition :(
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
it looks classy but churiyan wont be visible and atleast i don want that,so em goin for 3 quarter sleeves :D
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
I'm defo gonna go for fitted long sleeves. I love the look, think it looks elegant and it's something that I think would suit me anyway. Like SGC said, make them fitted and out of thinner matterial to make the bangles easier to wear.
Otherwise just don't make the sleeves completely full-length, but maybe just a bit longer than three-quarter length?
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
What do you guys think of elbow length sleeves? I'm not into the 3/4 sleeves look ..
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
I love elbow length!
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
exactly! i’m a go big or go home kinda girl with sleeves, and for me its either sleeveless or long sleeves. the elbow length and 3/4 length just seem awkward and i can never pull them off.
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
the main thing with long sleeves is you gotta have thin arms- otherwise it can be a bit sausage-in-its-casing which is not a good look for anyone!
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
This is a pretty good example that you can wear bangles with long sleeves. It doesn’t look terrible at all. Wonder why things like that always worry parents so much?
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
go for full sleeves, nothing is more elegant.. just wear them the way SGC said :)

omg u are changing my mind :) how about longer than 3 quarter and shorter than full :) like in this case there wil be space for churiyan :)
Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
^ will you sleeves be plain fabric or will they have kaam? what material will they be? if your sleeves have kaam and are thicker material like jamavar, go three quarter. if your sleeves are plain silk or chiffon or with very light kaam and no kaam on the outer edge/cuff, then go full and slide your choorian on top of them.

Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
no need to change your mind :) yes a little space for choorian sounds good.. just make sure the fitting is perfect otherwise it will break the overall look

Re: Full-Sleeve Bridal Gowns
Girls,
Thank you so much for the help.. here is the a picture of the kind of lengha I want to get made.. obviously it will be more “bridally” with a heavier dupatta and different color.. but look at the arms.. I think this length looks great.. if i shorten the sleeve.. it will take away from the elegance of the dress.. Do you think I can wear churiyan with this type of sleeve..since I love CHURIYAN.
