Thank you so much for the help.. here is the a picture of the kind of lengha I want to get made.. obviously it will be more “bridally” with a heavier dupatta and different color.. but look at the arms.. I think this length looks great.. if i shorten the sleeve.. it will take away from the elegance of the dress.. Do you think I can wear churiyan with this type of sleeve..since I love CHURIYAN.

UW, I really like the long sleeved look, like SGC suggested if the fabric is bareek with churidaar sleeves, It can make a very nice elegant look :)

I kept my shaadi sleeves full length with some kaam at the bottom (I believe it's "raw silk")... my Valima sleeves are slightly shorter - I highly doubt my fiance will let me into the hall unless I have chooriyan/karay. He likes his bling :)

wow ziggy 4 lakh is too much for this outfit. I want to get it made for my wedding, so I am getting a replica made. But it has to be more bridally. any suggestions? I am going to change the color to maroon and gold, and have a heavy dupatta with it.

Is that material in the middle moonlight? Can that be exchanged for something else?

^ Maroon and gold sounds like a beautiful combo and very Baraat in my eyes.

The outfit in the pic is not a lehengha, but some sort of sharara. They told me the fabric layered underneath was ordinary printed chiffon, nothing special.

The fabric is not moonlight .. Other pictures I've seen, the fabric in the middle just looks like a dotted chiffon. If you want to make it more bridal-ly, perhaps you could use kamdani material for the fabric in the middle. And I think that though the work itself is minimal but with the jacket material and the color combination you've chosen, the overall look will be quite rich.

I personally like it when bridal dresses are intricately designed but not overworked so they don't overwhelm the bride.
