But some people have no choice. Not everyone’s circumstances allow them to get out of the situation they are in. Obviously, I am not talking of people with bad attitude who cannot get ahead in life because of it. I was just trying to comprehend your response because your comeback did not make sense and reeked of superiority. Not everyone who cleans toilets does it because they have attitude problems. There could be million other issues that can bring a person’s self-worth so low that they don’t think they can get out of it. Have some heart.

10 percent of what happens to our life is circumstances, 90 percent is our attitude. This thread is about people who had the choice but their attitude lands them in a pickle, I have a SIL like that, I got her into Canada on a refugee status, drove 15 hrs to Montana got her across pleaded her case at the border, my babies waited 10 hrs while we were not allowed to leave and the very first day she responds with threats that if she won’t be obeyed she will get N to divorce me, kept repeating bad behavior until I removed her from my home, arranged room mate for her, she had a violent fight with her, fought with the social workers and all. no one wants to be with her and the sob storey begins, oh poor me I am so unfortunate someone did Jadoo on me..blah blah.
