Let me introduce linear thinking, bad thoughts result in bad actions and behaviour, bad behavior results in bad consequences, If we continually behaved in a bad way we end up with a mop in our hand cleaning other peoples pee, does any one of us want this for us or our children? I don’t think so. If it is a respectable profession, why would we never wish it upon ourselves. Self awareness is a good thing but knowing your place in a pack is crucial. If you are on the lowest rung of the ladder please don’t act like you are on the top. I am far from a hero, I see tens of people that I see and feel are better people than me, like the volunteer soccer coaches for my young boy, they are awesome people, the vegan kayak coach for my older boy is my personal hero, the chairman of our corporation that has a huge impact on the environment, they are all my heroes.
whining and making excuses has never been considered a positive quality, my hero Tony has suffered from Polio, he did not whine, he is a world class Para athlete, he is on the Olympic committee and holds a senior position with the govt, he is a role model, not the overbearing loud obnoxious janitor.

You don’t have to be a hero to realize that gang raping and abusing women is wrong and if a certain society has some evil men that will abuse and gang rape women and has very few good man that will step up and right the wrong than that society is doomed. A grade schooler in a civilised society knows that.

But some people have no choice. Not everyone’s circumstances allow them to get out of the situation they are in. Obviously, I am not talking of people with bad attitude who cannot get ahead in life because of it. I was just trying to comprehend your response because your comeback did not make sense and reeked of superiority. Not everyone who cleans toilets does it because they have attitude problems. There could be million other issues that can bring a person’s self-worth so low that they don’t think they can get out of it. Have some heart.
