Re: Frontier Karrahi
Ira, you are welcome. i can't believe it's been over 2 years that I posted the recipe. I have made this dish for many people with same results. Thanks for the appreciation. I am quite humbled due to the fact that it is my own and original recipe that I perfected after a few tries.
Re: Frontier Karrahi
No mirch masala?
Like what about hte salk adn what not?
Re: Frontier Karrahi

Re: Frontier Karrahi
^^ okay I see the salt. no haldi, masala and all ![]()
Fungu I have to try this.
It sounds pretty interesting - my kind of karahi takes a million years to make and hundred masalas..
Re: Frontier Karrahi
Muniya, thats why this is so amazing: extremely simplistic but tastes lovely
Lol, i sound like a spokesperson for fungos karrhai ![]()
Re: Frontier Karrahi
is this the frontier gosht recipe?
Re: Frontier Karrahi
How much meat do you use? Is it boneless? (I can't see the picture).
Re: Frontier Karrahi
yes we make it like that at home.
I have tried this recipe for Chicken Karhai before, but it would always get messed up. The addition of tomatoes a while after the chicken is added, always causes a big mess. The chicken's all ready but the tomatoes are still secreting their water. The masalaa looks all kacha kacha, and the chickens all cooked.
Pre cook tomatoes. Put them for five mins in boiling water. Peel off the skin. Mash the rest and cook in little oil.
