tarbooz kay balls bananay wala chamcha...if we dont know name of any spoon we call it like this...i dont know seriously

before digging more ice-creme from package… you need to dip scoop in water so that whole process become smooth and effortless…

I think only with the scooper without the break-free mechanism.

I always thought it was Tiffin or Tiffun.
Is Tiffing the name of some British ?

Long time ago I saw a documentary showing how packing lunches in these boxes and delivering them to the working men in Bombay is a big business.

Ice-cream is not made at home in Pakistan. Its just a recent phenemenon. Even after so many household got freezer, but still more than 90% people use / buy packed ice-cream from market.

it’s not a recent phenomenon. only ice-cream machines have changed.We had that wooden ice-cream machine with a metal box in it.Milk, custard and other ingredients were added in that box and then lots of ice blocks were added around that box with salt sprinkled over ice to dissolve ice.It was a hand machine and we used to take turns to make ice-cream, never got the right consistency though :hoonh:

we always had those ice-cream scoops in our home ghareeb log :hehe:

‘Tikozi’ ya’ni ‘tea cozy’ ki bigRi hui shakal, kaitli kay ooper to nahi diakhi par teapot kay opper rakhi jaati hai, chia to garam (cozy/warm) rakhnay kay liyay.
