Guys and girls make the bestest friends! To be honest, yes a guy and a girl can be very best friends but then one always ends up falling for the other...so there's no point really. Plus when you get hitched you can't really carry on being 'best buddies' coz your hubz/wife will get jelous plus it's unfair on them......
so yeah guys and girls 'can' be best friends but the friendship dies once one or the other gets into a relationship.........

Couldn't agree more. I have the exact same issues with this hero, dont preach what you dont follow. But it certainly is quite convenient to sit back and unleash the mulla within on the ignorant world, and rather tough to actually believe and follow what you say.
Gr8Hero, I don't have a personal hardon against you, but your holier than thou posts are a major annoyance. When I read your posts, I can see a skinny guy wearing a red or orange trouser, with a tasbeeh in one hand and a playboy in the other. Well I could certainly be wrong, but that is the impression I get. No disrespect intended.

it's pretty difficult for me personally to have friendships with men, i tend to get emotionally attached to them if i do end up becoming really good friends with them. it sux but that's just how it ends up being and then i have to ask for distance b/c it cannot be more than a friendship.
male colleagues are different, they does not come under the group of "very close male friends"
