loads of us have friends on the net that we have met over the net for example here on gupshup we meet loads of different people chat to them email them and talk to them.
we get attached to them maybe even start liking them and would like to meet them in real life
**how many of us guppies have actually met these friends in real life? **
**does ur friendship change once you meet them in real life? ** why do we want to meet these people in real life? is it our curiousity?
i was gonna say...." everybody making friends online is actually a looooooooser in real life who cant talk face to face. and when u meet the net friends u get disappointed when all those people that seemed so cool online turn out to be not at all cool in real life meetups"
Yesterday I met up with someone. He wasa family friend of a girl i'm friends with and he seemed nice and stuff online but ugh he turnedout to be the typical desi guy. Not a pleasant thing mind you, :p ... so no it wasnt' totaly anonymous I knew him through someone but yeah its kidna a let down..
my daadi ka superstition hai that if someone has hiccups that dont stop it means someone somewhere is remembering/discussing them....and if u guess the name of that person, the hiccups stop. lol
I have met a few people in person whom I first became acqutained with online. Nothing wrong with it and they all turned out to be great individuals. :k:
One of the things of talking to people online is, you will very probably never meet them. It's just an easy and lazy way to communicate. :)
Whenever you feel like talking to someone, on any subject you like, just go online. When you meet people in person, you often have to talk about boring things. Online you don't have to.
Well .. i have met some of my net frds …

I have met only two people in real life who I knew from the internet.
One girl and one guy. The girl was sweet & young. We were different in nature so friendship did not continue. The guy… he was very charming in the way he wrote and was even more charming in person. He was so happy to meet me too. I was delighted. He was very funny and intelligent. So, I felt he was very much interested in me Butter flies in my stomach
It wasnt too late when I found out that he was MashaAllah a married guy with two kids. Was just looking for some fun outside marriage.
Hmm… I am very strong in my belief now that these net friendships are nothing but bullsh!t.
I have met many people from online, mostly tech related people but I belive that online could be first step to know someone if they can be your friends or not.
Now there is an exception if someone lives too far from you. It's like you meeting new people through a friend.
I have met soooo many people from Gupshup in real life … Guppies in Europe, Canada and America. With quite a few of them, the friendship just developed even more and we are a lot closer after meeting. For Sadzzz and Femme
