every culture has its "thing" as far as unusual foods, there is actually a tv show on the travel channel, andrew zimmerman and unusual foods - he goes everywhere on the planet and eats the most surprising, grossed out things. No one has yet mentioned "blood pudding"....that english breakfast favorite. I ate one actually by mistake, I had NO idea what it was but it looked good so I ate it and asked later what is this. Almost barfed when I was told....but then again, it WAS very delectable lol!

Blood itself is haraam in Islam , so it does not matter if the blood is from a Zabihah Goat .. it still will be haraam to consume
in fact , there are seeven things in every animal that are haraam for a muslim to consume .. blood is one of them

Some african tribes eat the rain flies...you know the ones which come out when it rains and fly around bright lights and die within few hours. They are eaten whole with their wings flapping away.

They hold them by their legs…those insects got long legs and also pretty big wings. Some kids were actually surviving for few days on those insects when they were displaced from their homes during the post election chaos in Kenya.
