Re: Friday Flashback - Hum Aapke Hai Kaun
I don't care much for the movie. There are a couple corny songs in there that contain English. Bollywood songs should stay away from English...it sounds gay/cheesy.
It's weird. All these movies that I've watched....their flaws are more apparent to me now then they were back then...they're more annoying now then they were back then. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai takes the lead for me....the whiny/childish dialogs (rahul is a cheater)...the gay hand clapping game....the pointlessness of Johnny Lever's role as he wasn't remotely funny. DDLG...I only like watching it up to the point when Kajol returns to her home from her vacation. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham....Kareena was obnoxious, movie could have done without her. And I also find it annoying how the Yash Raj/chopra...whatever....movies begin with logo followed by a wordless tune of either Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or Kabhi Khushi kabhi Gham....they're so attached to those songs. Yes, the world knows u made those films..do we need to be reminded? And Shahrukh...I've seen many though not all of his movies. He does ham it up with the acting at times. He was the most natural in Chak De. Sorry to be a killjoy ....but now that I've got this out of my system, I feel soooo much better...my food will digest more efficiently and I'll sleep better at night. Peace.

It was a exact copt of Rajshri movie 'Nadiya ke paar' and that was probably better movie than Hum aapke hain kaun which is all about masala, latka jhatkas and last but least a geet mala more than a movie.

Yaar Ninja…lamba ho ya chota, who cares. Lekin baat sahi kahi hai! ![]()
Re: Friday Flashback - Hum Aapke Hai Kaun
I have to admit...I wasn't so gaga about the movie...it was ok...I was annoyed that she had to get married to her bro-in-law just coz of the kids!
Re: Friday Flashback - Hum Aapke Hai Kaun
^That annoyed you? ![]()
This is what annoyed me:
Chocoalte, lime juice, ice cream tofiyan
Bla bla bla guriyan aur saheliyan. Whatever.
For a song like that, she should be married off to Shakti Kapoor as penance. The BIL was too mild a punishment.
