Hey Guppans
So I’ve been silently following the forum for the past year and must commend all you guppans for your continuous and ongoing support and help in serious matters. its so true that you make planning a Pakistani wedding from abroad a whole lot easier. and you’ve definitely helped me a great deal as well, so THANKS 
anyhoo, getting down to business: Im getting married in December 2010 inshallah. We’ve finalized the baraat venue as Sapphire (Lahore) and I’m satisfied because I’ve heard you girls give good reviews for the hall. NOW i’m turning my focus towards booking my MUA for the baraat. After reading the numerous reviews on here, I’ve shortlisted a few Lahori MUA and I need your help once again. I’m considering the following:
- MaramAabroo
- Mariam Khawaja
- Madeeha’s
now, I know we revisited the MUA topic countless times on this forum but PLEASE Guppans I need FRESH info. I’m feeling strongest about MaramAabroo. I’ve been in touch with them and they’ve been good with responding. They’ll charge 25,000 for the make up only (including a facial). now I know they’re AMAZING for their fashion styling and make up but there are no available pics of real brides which makes it slightly hard to make the leap of faith. so if any Guppans on here have experienced MaramAbroo or have bridal pics, PLEASE share.
as for mariam khawaja, I’ve heard so much praise about her but once again theres a lack of real bridal pics. a family friend of mine recently had experience with her and strongly recommended her but the pics she showed me - i wasnt too impressed - the make up looked very ordinary.
lastly, about madeehas - i dont want to be an assembly line bride when i know that in a salon like MaramAbroo I will be the only bride there and will be on time and not have to wait 2hrs. my other concern with Madeehas is the rumor that they’re only good for pastels and i’ll be wearing red for baraat of course so..
so you can see my dilemma. PLEASE post any RECENT pics if you have of brides who got done up by any of these salons and make recommendations based on their recent performance.
