Re: french fries
AGREE…it’s that garlic sauce that made the shawarms in KSA so awesome. They don’t make shawarmas like that here, They put the tahini sauce in them instead of the garlic one. And I don’t get why. They’re middle eastern cooks too…why the difference? And my favorite shawarma place was the little fast food restaurant in the middle of the bazaar called King of Juice…awesome shawarmas. Everything was in the right proportion, meat, sauce, veggies. And they put enough sauce in it. Baba Habbas shawarmas are too dry.
Re: french fries
ketchup
garlic mayo
chilli garlic sauce
Ditto... :)
Re: french fries
****And I LOVE fries with that yummy garlic sauce that comes in those little plastic cups....served in the Middle Eastern restaurants with their broasted chicken.
drool
Yup fries with 'thoum' (the garlic sauce, it's easy to make at home too!)
you KNOW that garlic sauce recipe?? temme temme!!
Re: french fries
yeah most good shawarma places are complete with fresh juices and all and they put garlic sauce in always, I always got mine with the hot sauce (called shatta and it’s like tabasco). here in pakistan we get this totally weird concoction that they call shawarmas :S, people have no idea what a shawarma is

Re: french fries
boil the aalus a lil and then drain them and fry them and u'll see the difference ...
Yah i also fry the chips like that. simple boil the water then put potato into it and boil for lil then drain and deep fry.
My mum uses corn flour to make french fries at home I think, they're also yummy.
how do u mom cook like that? is chips become crispy or not?
Did any one dip the poatatos into salty water or no? after fry i add chat masala and eat with ketchup or garlice sauce.
