Freedom = loneliness

Re: Freedom = loneliness

I was just in the heartland of Ucluelet where natives hunted for seals and whales and many boaters still ask for their weather forecast. Our guides were telling us that some of their stories dating 5000 yrs back about Tsunami and stuff is now scientifically proven. There are birds behind our house in the forest which migrated 12000 km. Makes me wonder how they know their way.

Re: Freedom = loneliness

I could tell you that I understand every word you wrote down but then I would be sounding like a broken record. :hehe: So I will rather tell you what helps me deal with this comparison which a lot of us are subjected to since childhood. It is a possibility that comparing with others is part of human nature and we would still be doing it even if no one else exposed us to it. Anywho so here it is, “everyone has their own timeline so follow your own path and do not try to match someone else’s because no two paths are alike” Once you really understand this, it won’t bother you one bit what someone else might have that you don’t currently.

Re: Freedom = loneliness

my little poem on native americans…

their love is king..
Native American men and women have a connection to the earth that is remarkable. Their love for the earth is king. One woman spoke of how she cries when the earth is destroyed. She cries for the earth. Imagine if all of us felt this way for mother earth. At times of pain, it is this mother that comforts us. The sun, the moon, the trees, just nature in general that gives us that peace we deeply need in tough times. What would be left without the earth? Love conquers all. Of all the pain the oil companies cause the earth, one thing is for sure, it won’t last. Love will win.

haha..you can always venture into cooking it yourself. I loved Nihari from Karachi and I kept cooking it until I cook it a lot better than they served back home. On the other side of spectrum last evening I cooked gigantic home made red neck burgers for the boys.
