France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

First, the population is close to 10%, second there is no "bad rep" here, third nobody is talking about "regulation" here, we are talking about "ban".

The act under question is not of "everyday", lets keep things in perspective.

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

France is generally more bigoted towards religion among other things, hence their perceptions across the world, but I think even the US might object if roads were being regularly blocked here as well. I don't know about UK, but then I don't like their way of ghettonization of the muslim population which has really regressed the growth of the community.

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

Racist slogans found on Muslim Graves In French cemetery

even in death the muslims find no peace

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

Arent you the one that calls the deaths Muslims a victory for your terrorist friends ? So why should you care, leave Muslim problems for Muslims to deal with…

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

this is very unfortunate and condemnable, but every country has got radical rightists extremists reactionary idiots who do such cowardice , but whole country should not be blamed, as you are trying to blame whole country france , as if french as a whole are trying to disturb the peace of dead muslims lying in the graves.

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

Ever tried applying to build a Church or Guruduwara in Saudi Arabia. I have not seen any post condeming that.

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

@Captain1 - population may be 10% but I was referring to that portion of the population which are the rogues and radicals, which has to be a much smaller number.

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

So now they won't have to pray in the rain and sleet and snow. This is not a bad thing. The imam in the video said he asked for a place for a masjid 10 years ago, and they finally got it, and he seemed happy about it.

Actually, a lot of people don't want any religion cluttering up the streets and infringing on the general public.

Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris

i think this should end the thread .hope no other country creats such controversy/ problems which can be solved simply by providing space for religious prayers for all religiones
