Re: France bans Muslim prayers on streets in Paris
Same can be said about walking half naked on the streets. Where’s the manners and sharm-o-haya then?
I’m okay with this ban and I’m okay with the ban on obscene clothing in KSA. *It hurts the sensitivities of many of our fellow citizens *should be a good enough reason for any country, not just France, to ban anything, would you agree?
Perhaps they can’t afford it?
We have just one mosque (a house used as masjid) in my city and they find it hard to keep up with the rent for that one place too. They’ve had to start different fundraising activities to keep the masjid going. If muslim population in this city was to increase, they would definitely run out of room and would not have enough funds for a second/bigger place. I doubt muslims here will take to the streets though, they will just not pray in jamaat any more.
