How would fellow Guppans feel if their husbands went and married multiple (<=4) times?
I mean it would definetely keep men from Zina? A big sin right? But what about all you jealous broads? How would you feel? Specially the egocentric kinds that grew up abroad? I know that women in Pakistan will just hack it one way or the other, I ma more interested in ABCD responses.
I am not trying to make fun it is a genuine question that I thought about reading Sarah 516s response in some other thread.
I would leave him if he so much as thought about another woman.
I know one guppan has openly declared that she wouldn't mind her hubby doing the double whammy. Not so sure about a quadruple.
umm…i know 4 wives r allowed n its good to marry chaar larkiyan if like their family r going thru tough times…need financial help or something…or there r TOO many girls in ur society compared to men…
LEKIN…i would NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR let my husband even LOOK at sum other girl…i dunno…im jus weird that way…thats ONE thing i wud never bardaasht…i dont like sharing…lol…my husbandz mine n no one looks at him
…
n if he even talks about marrying someone else…lol…i dunno wat i’ll do…
i guess i’ll jus kill myself :p…
n yeah i was raised here in canada…
n no…my husband will NOT marry anyone mujhse shadi kerne ke baad ![]()
n like MQ said…if he even THINKS about some other girl…dekhna to door ki baat hai…lol…i’ll go crazy :halo: …
Whats an ABCD response? and why are women in pakistan able to "hack it" anymore so than a woman in anyother country?
my answer, if he allows me to buy all the shoes i want he can do whatever the frig he wants. Marriage for me is just another means for someone new to pay for my shoes.
you got it
how many shoes does it take, for u to be single again.

I would only be able to answer that when im actually married. Il let you know when that time comes. Although having said that, i predict quite a few pairs. I have shoes from when i was 16 years old, the throwing away of shoes is very sinful.

Are you sure you are not my sister? PM me your real name.
ABCD= American born confused desi. But I was implying towards girls that were raised abroad.
The girls in Pakistan are basically Khavand keh neechay so they'll just shut up and put up with it their soukans

I don't think double whammy's are allowed in Islam. One day wifey 1 the other day wifey 2. OR moring at 1 and lunch at 2 chai at 1 and dinner at 2.
I guess it will take me some years before I start thinking at your level.

sister? is she an ABCD too?
So girls that are raised abroad (define abroad for me please) are less likey to be "khavand keh neechay"? Are they Khavand keh upar? (pardon my urdu, im unpar)
I dont particually have much knowlegde in the ups and downs of husbands and wives, but all of the pakistani woman i know, never ever shut up and put up with anything!! My male cousins are more afraid of their Pakistani wives than they are of god!

Either you know nothing or you know too much. What is it?
I always joke around with my husband about this.. I am like as long as they cook well and clean alot....i am cool with it. But I dont know if I woudl actually be cool with it....I guess its one of those things that you cant have an answer for before you are in that situation...
Because everyone can say I would leave him or this and that...but there are tons of things that are considered in that moment...who knows what circumstance will lead to that decision.. I am just from the school of thought of never saying NEVER!!!!
Oh...in case u are wondering if this was an ABCD answer or not...I actually dont know what I would be considered!! Born in Canada but grew up all over the place....so you decide!!

Everything I said in this thread has two meanings. You pick what you are.
I've thought about it a lot. On the surface I would hate it, hate sharing my time with my husband with other women. I love him so much that I want to spend all my time with him. But when I truly forget the sexual stuff, the time stuff, I realize that the other wives would be women too. I mean it's easy to think of them as husband snatchers, as competition, as enemies, but they're women too. So I guess I wouldn't mind it that much. It would be nice to have friends that are family too, share everything in our lives, and have a massive famikly (I come from a tiny family that's almost always lived away from each other so I love big families).
Oh the bottom line, depends on what my husband's intentions are.

This rings a bell
Re: Four Wives
First, not all women born here are egocentric. And you call them jealous broads like it’s a bad thing :D. Seriously, doesn’t a woman have a right to be jealous of her husban’ds second wife??? Wouldn’t you be jealous of your ex’s new man?
Okay my personal opinion..like I said in the other thread…I’ll try to work as hard as I can to amke sure that he wouldn’t want to stray. And in my opnion, looking and thinking are not necessarily “straying.” But if he was still not satisfied, then I’ll divorce him. Yes, he has the right to marry multiple wives, but I also have the right to ask for a divorce if i’m not happy with how things have turned out.
And yes, if u didnt already know, i am an ABCD without the C ![]()
I borrow a everybody-loves-raymond joke.
When your woman is a problem, then don't go out and get another one. Then you have two problems.
Any guy that can't see this as obvious is just too stupid to be my husband in the first place.
